Crystal Quiros has a diverse range of work experience in the research and laboratory field. Crystal began their career as a Student Valet at UCLA Parking Services from August 2017 to June 2020. From July 2020 to November 2020, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at BioReference Laboratories. Crystal then joined Cedars-Sinai as a Research Associate from November 2020 to August 2021. Crystal continued their research work at UCLA Health as a Research Associate from August 2021 to August 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Protein Production Research Associate II at aTyr Pharma, starting in August 2022.

Crystal Quiros has a strong educational background, with a focus on public health, Chicana/o studies, and molecular cell developmental biology. Crystal began their educational journey in 2016 at UCLA, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chicana/o Studies and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Molecular Cell Developmental Biology. Crystal'stime at UCLA lasted until 2020. Following this, Crystal furthered their education by enrolling at Southern New Hampshire University in 2022, where they studied Public Health and obtained a Master's degree in 2023.
