Jim Simpson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, quality, and manufacturing within the food and chemical industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at ATX Specialty Foods since July 2017, Jim has progressed from Director of Operations to this senior leadership role. Prior to this position, Jim held significant roles at Genesis Today, Inc., including Sr. Director of Quality & Manufacturing and Director of Quality, alongside experience as an Analytical Chemist. Earlier in the career, Jim worked at ATMI as a Senior Chemist, INVISTA as a Chemist, and UTC Power as a Material Scientist. Jim holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and possesses certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual from FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food.
