George Gordon

Principal Engineer at ATX Networks Corp.

George Gordon, MSc, P.Eng has extensive work experience in the field of electrical engineering and FPGA development. George has worked as a Manager of Electrical Engineering at FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Inc. from December 2017 to November 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior FPGA Engineer at Imagine Communications for a brief period in 2017. From 2011 to 2017, George worked at Siemens as a Senior HW and FPGA Engineer, where they led the HW development for military rugged communication systems and designed various FPGAs for Ethernet Switch products. Before joining Siemens, they worked at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, where they held multiple roles, including HW Development Team Manager and Senior Hardware Engineer/DSP Designer. In these roles, they led system development, managed R&D groups, and developed FPGA devices for EW systems. Additionally, George has experience working as a Senior FPGA Developer at GE Renewable Energy and as a Technician at Motorola Mobility. Currently, they serve as a Principal Engineer at ATX Networks Corp.

George Gordon has a diverse education history in the field of engineering. George obtained a Professional Engineering degree from the Professional Engineers Ontario in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Electro-Optic Sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in the years 2004 to 2008. Their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering was earned from Holon Institute of Technology with a degree from Tel-Aviv University between 1997 and 2001. Lastly, George earned a Practical Engineer degree in Electronics from Technion Technical College from 1991 to 1994. George also holds a Certificate of Appreciation from PEO - Professional Engineers Ontario.
