Dan Davis

DVR Program Manager at Atwork

Dan Davis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan began their career in 2005 as a Program Aide/Summer Camp Counselor at Bellevue Boys & Girls Club. Dan then served as a Special Education Para-Educator at Lake Washington School District from 2005 to 2007.

In 2007, Dan joined WA DSHS- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation as a Rehabilitation Technician until 2016. During their time there, they built and drove the DVR funded division of employment services for clients with disabilities. Dan also provided direct service to clients and maintained division tracking systems and records.

From 2011 to 2012, Dan worked as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at LWSD- Eastlake High School, where they motivated and encouraged student athletes in their academic and athletic pursuits. Dan also facilitated communication between school faculty, students, and parents.

Dan held the position of Head Wrestling Coach at LWSD- Juanita High School from 2015 to 2018. Here, they continued to motivate and encourage student athletes while also maintaining open lines of communication within the school community.

In 2018, Dan joined Bellevue School District as an Assistant Wrestling Coach, a position they held until 2019. Dan motivated and encouraged student athletes to continuously improve and facilitated communication among faculty, students, and parents.

Since 2019, Dan has been the Head Wrestling Coach at Eastside Catholic School, where they share their expertise and passion for wrestling with their team.

Overall, Dan Davis has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, coaching, and empowering individuals with disabilities throughout their career.

Dan Davis attended Central Wyoming College and studied Child Psychology. Dan then transferred to Bellevue College in 2004 and pursued General Studies with a focus on Psychology. From 2005 to 2007, they attended City University of Seattle, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology. Finally, in 2013, they attended the University of Washington and received a Certificate in Project Management.
