Louise Rafty PhD is a seasoned professional in bioengineering with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Current role as BD Bioengineering at ATUM Bio, since June 2005, involves offering tools for gene design, optimization, and protein engineering. Previous experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Genentech, focusing on vascular endothelial growth factor signaling pathways, and a CJ Martin post-doctoral fellowship at OHSU working on the molecular characterization of SIR2 enzymes. Louise Rafty holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with a concentration in Gene Regulation from UNSW and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Pharmacology from the University of Sydney.
