Troy Kasting has had a varied career, beginning in 2007 as a Project Manager at GMG Capital. In this role, they coordinated a team of sales representatives and software developers and successfully launched two startup companies in Vilnius, Lithuania. Troy also oversaw product development, was involved in the design and development of company websites, produced marketing materials, created presentation decks for stakeholders and investors, managed inventory, was involved in hiring and staff management, and helped maintain databases.
In 2013, Kasting was hired by Emily Carr University of Art and Design as a Lead Designer. In this role, they helped design the Viewbook iPhone App, an interactive digital version of ECU's popular Viewbook Magazine. Troy was involved in the IA and UX design, as well as serving as the principal graphic designer.
Since 2014, Kasting has been with Attendease as Manager, Customer Success. Their role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including account management, project management, product development, customer training and onboarding, business development, front line customer support, quality assurance, and software development. Troy has also served as a Project Manager and Marketing Lead. Their mission has been to exemplify Attendease's tireless dedication to building a world-class company.
Troy Kasting received their BA in English Literature from The University of British Columbia in 2006. In 2013, they completed the Interaction Design Essentials program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, focusing on Interactive Design.
