Steve Wissing has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Steve started their career in 2006 as a Front Office Supervisor at Hyatt Regency Boston and later took on roles as Assistant Front Office Manager, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper. In 2011, they became the Front Office Manager at the same hotel. Steve then worked as a Consultant for Kingsbridge International, Inc., where they played a significant role in identifying trends and developing new products. In 2016, they joined YOTEL New York as the Senior Manager of Mission & Ground Control, overseeing guest services. After that, Steve worked as the Director of Operations at JHouse Greenwich and General Manager at Delamar Hotels. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Task Force General Manager at Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria. Most recently, they worked as a Task Force General Manager and the Director of Finance at Atrium Hospitality. Throughout their career, Steve has achieved notable accomplishments, including achieving high flow-through rates, improving market penetration index, and maintaining excellent guest satisfaction ratings.
Steve Wissing earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Boston University between 2002 and 2006.
