James McSawley serves as the Director of Cyber Security Operations at Atrium Health since February 2021 and at Wake Forest Baptist Health since March 2018, where roles also include Director of Information Security and Manager of Cyber Security Infrastructure. Prior to this, James held the position of Information Security Architect at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center from August 2005 to March 2018, focusing on security design, incident response, and risk management. James's earlier experience includes roles as Lead IT Security and Senior Network Systems Analyst at North Carolina Baptist Hospital from July 2003 to February 2009. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, earned from 1986 to 1990.
