Jason Olejniczak is an accomplished medicinal chemist with extensive experience in drug discovery, particularly in oncology and immunology. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Atomwise, Jason leads medchem strategies to advance AI-derived hits into viable lead candidates. Previous roles include Senior Scientist and Scientist at Turning Point Therapeutics, where responsibilities encompassed cross-functional project management, as well as an Investigator at Calibr, where Jason focused on developing a covalent inhibitor. With a strong academic foundation, including a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jason has contributed significantly to various research projects and collaborations throughout a career that spans over a decade in medicinal chemistry.
