Ted Mondale has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. From 1991 to 1999, they served as a State Senator for the State of Minnesota. During this time, they also acted as the Chair of the Metropolitian Council, where they led the procurement and development of the Hiawatha LRT line and implemented Smart Growth strategies. From 2003 to 2011, they served as the CEO of Nazca Solutions. During this time, they were also the Vice President of Strategy and Research for GREATER MSP (Minneapolis - Saint Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership) and the Chair of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission. In 2012, they became the CEO/Executive Director of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. Most recently, they have been working in New Business Development/Government Relations at Atomic Data since 2017.
Ted Mondale attended the University of Minnesota from 1979 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American History (United States). Ted then attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 1985 to 1988, where they received their Juris Doctor (JD).
