Peter S. Mello has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Services for Infotec Brasil. In 2017, they became the Sócio-Diretor for Atomtech and the Co-Founder and CEO of Atom Planner. Peter was also a PMI Volunteer from 2003-2006 and a Scheduling Consultant for Spider Project Team from 2006-2017. In 2018, they became a BriskPPM Solutions Partner, International Product Manager, and BriskPPM Product Manager for INTELIT SMART GROUP. From 2016-2017, they were a Colaborator Member for ABNT - Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas and a Revision/Editorial Board Member for Mundo PM - Project Management from 2006-2017. In 2017, they became the Portfolio Project Manager for BrScan Tecnologia and an Entrepreneur for ScrumSmart from 2013-2017.

Peter S. Mello has an extensive education history. Peter obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidade de Brasília in 1992. Peter then attended UNIOESTE from 1995 to 1997, however, they did not obtain a degree. In 2014, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Robert Gordon University. In 2017, they obtained a Certification in Information Technology from MIT xPRO. In 2018, they obtained a Certification in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, they are enrolled in the Founder Institute for Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Additionally, they hold a number of certifications, including Agile Hybrid Project Pro Micro-Credential from Project Management Institute, Negotiation Skills: The MIT Mutual Gains Approach from MIT xPRO, Internet of Things (IoT): Roadmap to a Connected World from MIT Professional Education, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute, Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) from Project Management Institute, PMI-SP - Project Management Scheduling Professional from Project Management Institute, and Spider Project Specialist (SpS) from Spider Project Team.
