Matthew Clark Hellery has held a variety of roles in the Information Technology and Graphic Design fields, beginning with a position as an Information Technology, Marketing, and Software Specialist at IBM in 2000. Matthew then worked as an English Second Language Teacher at the College of Queensland Australia in 2008, and at Maple School of English and French in 2007. In 2008, they held a position as Front of House Customer Service at Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. In 2010, they worked as a Mac Genius at Apple, and in 2015 they began working as an Information Technology Engineer at Sparx. In 2021, they began working as a System Administrator at Organic, and they currently work as a Support Engineer at Atom Learning. Matthew also established their own small design company, redfacedmonkey, in 2012, where they have worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator.

Matthew Clark Hellery obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Hertfordshire between 2008 and 2010.
