Sandy Wuori has been working in the technology industry since 1991. Sandy began their career at IBM Networking Systems as an Engineer/Associate Engineer, where they developed an NDIS device driver for an ISDN adapter in C and 80x86 assembly languages. In 1995, they moved to Tekelec as a Software Engineer II, where they coded, tested, and debugged various SS7 protocol features in C for the Signal Transfer Point. In 1997, they joined Ericsson, Inc. as a Staff Engineer, designing, implementing, and testing object-oriented application software and device drivers in C/C++. In 2006, Sandy moved to Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, where they created and verified customized software for GSM phones marketed globally. Sandy then joined Oracle in 2014 as a Software Engineer, writing and debugging real-time, embedded C code for the EAGLE Application and Platform teams. In 2020, Sandy began working at Atmospheric Plasma Solutions as an Embedded Engineer.
Sandy Wuori obtained a BSEE in Electrical Engineering and Communications from North Carolina State University from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained an Electronic Technology degree in Electronics from St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute from 1979 to 1981. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn in 2020: Leading from the Middle and Learning Subnetting.
