Andres Zwanzger

Head of Corporate Accounting & Taxes at Atlas Renewable Energy

Andres Zwanzger has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andres began their career at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior External Auditor, where they conducted audits for various clients and proposed adjustments based on accounting principles. Andres then joined BHP Billiton as a Senior Internal Auditor for South America, where they participated in financial and operational audits to optimize operations. Andres later became the SOX Manager for Base Metals and Internal Control Advisor at BHP Billiton, responsible for implementing the Sarbanes Oxley 404 process and improving internal control processes.

In 2005, Zwanzger joined thyssenkrupp Elevator as the Financial Controller for the Latin America Region. Andres was in charge of leading financial and accounting tasks, maintaining internal controls, and implementing policies and standards for 13 countries in the LATAM region. Andres also played a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial performance. Eventually, they were promoted to VP Finance for the LATAM Region, where they led the financial and accounting area for the 13 countries and focused on working capital management and asset reduction.

Currently, Zwanzger is the Head of Corporate Accounting & Taxes at Atlas Renewable Energy, a position they have held since 2018.

Andres Zwanzger has a diverse education history. In 1991, they started their academic journey at Universidad Andres Bello, where they pursued a degree in CPA with a focus on Accounting-Auditing and Finance. Andres completed their degree in 1996.
