Mark North is a seasoned logistics and shipping professional with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Logistics Manager for Future Energy at Synergy since October 2023, Mark is dedicated to delivering renewable projects in Western Australia. Prior roles include Principal of Sales and Shipping at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd, and Manager of the Marine Business Unit at Toll Group. Mark also held the position of Director at Thurlestone Shipping, where responsibilities included opening the Perth office and providing consultancy services in various commodity markets. A graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Master of Maritime Law, Mark has built a diverse skill set through roles across shipping, operations, and claims management since starting out in the industry in 2000. Educational credentials further include qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Durban University of Technology, and ongoing studies in Marketing and Business Management.
