Johannes Gelze has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Johannes is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at thyssenkrupp as the Senior Manager of Technology Strategy from January 2022 to April 2023. From April 2020 to February 2022, Johannes held the position of Head of Sonar Center, and from January 2016 to March 2020, they served as the Abteilungsleitung of Underwater Component Design at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH. Before joining ATLAS ELEKTRONIK, Johannes was the Technikverantwortlicher U-Bootsysteme from April 2015 to December 2015. Johannes began their career at the Technische Universität Berlin, Fachgebiet Mikrotechnik, where they worked from April 2010 to March 2015.

Johannes Gelze pursued their education from 2010 to 2015 at Technische Universität Berlin, where they completed their doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering.
