Greg Kappen is a seasoned aviation professional with over two decades of experience in flight operations and performance engineering. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Flight Operations Administration at Atlas Air since September 2010, Greg Kappen oversees Dispatch, Performance Engineering, and ATC departments while managing training programs and fuel optimization initiatives. Previously, Greg held the position of Sr. Director of System Operations Control at Spirit Airlines, directing daily flight operations and dispatch departments. Greg's career also includes significant roles at Northwest Airlines, where responsibilities included managing flight procedures and training flight crews. Greg Kappen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
