Rory O’Kane started working at Jerry Bacharach as a Programmer in 2009, where they designed and implemented a program to transform artifact information from Excel spreadsheets into separate web pages. Rory then worked at Empathy Lab as a Developer in 2011, where they enhanced and maintained front- and back-end of video-on-demand websites. In 2012, they joined Neomind Labs as a Developer and upgraded the Ruby on Rails website to a newer framework version. At Transportation Resource Associates, Inc., they worked as a Software Developer in 2013 and enhanced and maintained industrial safety tracking software while creating mobile versions of the app and sales websites. In 2016, they joined NexHealth as a Developer, implementing survey-taking in Ruby on Rails API and Angular.js web app, as well as writing a scraper to extract sales leads. Rory then worked at ActiveViam as a Software Engineer from 2017 to 2018, where they enhanced and maintained ActiveUI, a data analysis web app and client-side library. Currently, Rory O’Kane is working as a Software Engineer at Atlantis Technology since November 2020.

Rory O'Kane completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, starting in 2009 and graduating in 2015. Prior to that, Rory attended Cairo American College from 2005 to 2009 for high school. Rory also holds additional certifications, including being a Triplebyte Certified Front-end Engineer and Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer, both obtained from Triplebyte in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Rory also completed the "Shaping up with Angular.js" certification from Code School in 2015 and the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" certification from Coursera in 2014.
