Ivan Peters is an experienced welding and quality control professional with a diverse background in the fabrication and inspection of welds. Currently serving as a Quality Control Inspector at APM since April 2019, Ivan conducts visual weld inspections in accordance with ASME standards. As a "B" Pressure and TIG Welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers since 2008, Ivan has worked on construction and maintenance projects across western Canada, specializing in welding for power generation plants and petro refineries. Previous roles include Pressure Vessel Welder/Fitter at Thermo Design Engineering Ltd, Machine Shop Welder at United Diamond, and Structural Steel/Platefitter Welder at National Oilwell Varco. Ivan's educational qualifications include a "B" Pressure Welder certification with ABSA and MPI and LPI Level 1-2 Training Certificates from the Canadian Institute for Non-Destructive Evaluation.
