Linda Bazemore has more than 25 years of work experience in finance, administration, and accounting. Linda began their career at South Jersey Industries in 1992, where they worked in the accounting department for nearly a decade. In 2001, they joined the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority as the Deputy Executive Director, where they were responsible for implementing administrative and financial policies. After 14 years with the AC MUA, they moved on to become the Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Atlantic County Utilities Authority in 2016. In their current role, Linda is responsible for managing the financial operations of the Solid Waste and Wastewater departments, as well as overseeing debt and cash management, investments, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Additionally, they manage the human resources and information technology departments.
Linda Bazemore's education history includes studying at Stockton University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting. Linda also pursued a graduate degree at Rutgers University - Camden, specializing in Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, Linda holds certifications as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer from the State of New Jersey and as a Certified Public Accountant, also from the State of New Jersey.
