Christopher Escobar is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in film and video production, management, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Owner and Managing Member of The Tara Theatre and Plaza Theatre, Christopher is dedicated to the restoration of historical cinema. As Executive Director of the Atlanta Film Society, Christopher oversees operations and strategic vision. Previous roles include Director/Owner of ESCOBAR PICTURES, where Christopher produced creative media for various high-profile clients, and positions that focused on technical advising and production assistance at Georgia State Television and indieATL. Christopher holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University, specializing in Communication and Film & Video.
