Lena Carstens is an experienced professional in the arts and cultural sector, currently serving as Development Officer for Public Grants at Atlanta BeltLine since August 2015. Prior to this role, Lena held positions including Program Manager for Arts and Education Services at the City of Atlanta's Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs from November 2011 to August 2015, and Vice President at Theater of the Stars for a brief period in 2011. Lena's earlier experience includes serving as Managing Director at Dad's Garage Theatre Company from March 2006 to May 2011 and Associate Managing Director at Alliance Theatre from May 2004 to June 2006. Lena holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership and an MA in Arts Administration from SMU Cox School of Business and Southern Methodist University, respectively, along with a BFA in Theatre Stage Management from Webster University.
