Rentia Engelbrecht serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Science at the University of the Free State since January 2004, with responsibilities including managing courses on communication, lecturing, and coordinating the A-STEP programme. Engelbrecht also holds a part-time lecturing position within the same department, focusing on various communication subjects and conducting tutorials and field excursions. In addition to academic duties, Rentia Engelbrecht has been an Adjudicator and Organizer for the ATKV Redenaars competition since January 2006, overseeing public speaking competitions and liaising with schools to manage entries and event logistics. Previous experience includes teaching English at a summer school in Scotland and serving as a student assistant, performing administrative and research support. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric and several other relevant degrees from the University of the Free State.
