Niko Finke is an accomplished environmental biogeochemist currently employed at ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ¸éé²¹±ô¾±²õ, with a recent position at SNC-Lavalin and prior experience as Mining Group Lead at WSP. Expertise includes mine wastewater treatment, biochemical reactors, selenium and nitrate removal, and the use of isotope data for hydrogeological characterization. Previous roles include geochemist at Wood, where similar projects were conducted, and various academic positions such as lecturer and research associate at the University of British Columbia, contributing significantly to grant applications and research projects. Finke also has a strong background in biogeochemical consulting and postdoctoral research, focusing on microbial processes and environmental monitoring. Education includes a doctorate in biogeochemistry and master's degrees in biology and geology from the University of Bremen.
