Mehmet Parlakyigit, P.Eng, MBA, MSc., CCP, PMP, is an experienced Project Controls Manager currently leading budget and forecasting initiatives for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project at ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ¸éé²¹±ô¾±²õ. With a solid background in project management and engineering, Mehmet has progressed through various roles, starting as a Project Coordinator and advancing to Project Controls Lead and then Manager, where responsibilities included preparing comprehensive cost analyses and performance reports. Previously, Mehmet served as a Project Manager at Zgemi Inc. and held senior planning roles at Jacobs, SINERJI CONSTRUCTION CO, and KINETIK ENGINEERING LTD, contributing to major projects across multiple industries. Mehmet holds an MBA from Cardiff University, a Master’s in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
