Renee Mason is an experienced instructor at the University of Houston-Downtown since January 2019, and has worked as a freelance court reporter since April 1979. Mason has also been a freelance court reporter for Atkinson-Baker Court Reporters since August 2015 and served as a scopist using Eclipse from June 2014 to April 2016. Additionally, Mason taught at Mark Kislingbury's Academy of Court Reporting from August 2014 to August 2015 and retired as an official court reporter for the State of Illinois in June 2014 after a long tenure beginning in April 1979. Renee Mason holds an Associate's degree in Court Reporting from the Chicago College of Commerce, completed between 1977 and 1979.
