Carol Gefis is an accomplished employment litigation attorney with 30 years of experience in the legal field. Currently serving as a Partner at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo since May 2014, Carol has a strong background in Employment Law and Business Litigation. Previous positions include Special Counsel at Archer Norris, where representation of employers against claims of wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation was a primary focus. Carol also provided counsel on best employment practices. As a former Partner at Oswald & Yap, Carol specialized in employment and business litigation, and prior to that, Carol owned a general litigation practice representing businesses in Orange County. Educational credentials include a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
