Jason Harwell has extensive experience in visual communications and graphic design, currently serving as the Visual Communications Coordinator and Media Analyst II for Athens-Clarke County Unified Government since July 2013. Previously, Jason was a part-time faculty member at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Georgia, teaching graphics for journalism majors. With a background that includes freelance graphic design services at Mathlete Media, LLC, and marketing management for Foundry Park Inn & Spa, Jason has developed a robust skill set in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. Jason's early career included roles such as Typesetter at Bel-Jean Copy/Print and President of Rebuilt Records, where Jason managed operations and fundraising for a nonprofit recording company. Jason holds a Master of Art Education degree from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Reinhardt University.
