Dan Doty, M.Ed., is an experienced educator and pastor currently serving as a 4th Grade Teacher at Athens City Schools since July 2023 and as the Associate Pastor at River Valley Church since November 2022. Previously, Dan served as a Driving Instructor at Alabama Driving Academy, a 5th Grade Teacher at Huntsville City Schools, and a 6th Grade Teacher at Madison County Schools, specializing in English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. With a long history in pastoral leadership, Dan was the Lead Pastor of Central Assembly of God from January 2007 to March 2022. Dan holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Samford University, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
