Patrick Bellew is the founder and executive chairman of Atelier Ten since April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the principal at Atelier Ten from October 1990 to April 2023. Patrick also worked as a senior engineer at Buro Happold from September 1981 to November 1988. Furthermore, Patrick Bellew was a trustee at the UK Green Building Council from September 2007 to December 2017. Additionally, they taught as a William H Bishop visiting professor at Yale University School of Architecture, teaching the core Environmental Design Course to M Arch II students until 2008 and delivering advanced design studios in various years.
Patrick Bellew attended Stonyhurst College from 1967 to 1977. Following this, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Engineering at the University of Bath from 1977 to 1981, specializing in Architecture and Building Engineering.
