Trevor Tam has a diverse work experience, starting in 2018 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Shaochen Chen Lab in the University of California San Diego. Trevor then joined Allegro 3D in 2020 as a Product Development Intern, followed by a role as a Strain Engineering Intern at Ligand Pharmaceuticals in 2021. Currently, Trevor is working at Alphatec Spine as a Design Engineer in the Biologics division starting in 2022.

Trevor Tam received their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Trevor then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Engineering degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same university, studying from 2021 to 2022.
