Redmond R. Shamshiri has a diverse work experience in the field of agricultural engineering and bioeconomy. In 2008, Redmond founded Adaptive AgroTech Consultancy International, where they held the role of Founder. In 2015, Redmond joined Wageningen University & Research as a Visiting Researcher, where they worked until 2016. Currently, Redmond is a Scientific Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy since October 2018.

In 2012, Redmond returned to Universiti Putra Malaysia to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Automation/Simulation and Modeling, which they obtained in 2014.
