Martin Alcalde has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Martin founded the digital product agency Ataraxy in 2023, where they currently hold the role of Founder - CTO. At Ataraxy, they focus on developing creative digital strategies, utilizing software & hardware development, product development, design, and data and Al expertise to automate scalable processes, with a mission to help entrepreneurs succeed in the digital landscape.

Prior to starting Ataraxy, Martin worked at SweatWorks from 2020 to 2023. Martin initially served as a Tech Lead, overseeing technical feasibility, deadlines, costs, and strategy. Later, they transitioned to the role of SME on Product Discoveries, where they utilized their technical knowledge and generalist perspective to understand the big picture and effectively manage various aspects of product development.

Before joining SweatWorks, Martin worked at Arkano Software as a Xamarin Mobile Developer from 2017 to 2020, specializing in mobile app development.

Martin Alcalde began their education in 2010 when they attended the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a degree in First Certificate Exam (FCE). Martin completed this degree in 2016. In 2011, Martin then enrolled in Universidad de la República, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería en computación. Martin is currently still studying at this university. Later, in 2016, they also pursued a degree in Licenciatura en Computación orientación Ingeniería de Software at the same university.
