Sohee Jang is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk at Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) since October 2018, Sohee Jang focuses on enterprise risk management support for approximately 900 staff members, implementing strategic risk plans and enhancing risk culture. Prior to ASX, Sohee Jang held senior roles at Commonwealth Bank, including Senior Operational Risk & Compliance Manager and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities included compliance support and leading key risk projects. Additional experience includes key positions at BNP Paribas, Caisse des Dépôts, Glitnir, BearingPoint, and BPCE, demonstrating expertise in operational risk, compliance programs, and regulatory changes. Sohee Jang holds an M.B.A. in Finance from emlyon business school and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from Korea University.
