Matthew Gardner is an experienced legal professional specializing in technology, intellectual property, and banking and finance. Since October 2020, Matthew has served as Senior Legal Counsel at ASX, following a role as Corporate Counsel at Mercedes-Benz Australia from January 2018 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes positions as Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons (2015-2017), Lawyer at Thomson Geer (2013-2015), and Graduate Lawyer at Herbert Geer (2011-2013). Prior to legal practice, Matthew worked as a Paralegal in Workplace and Insurance Services at La Trobe University and as a Communications Officer in the Alumni and Advancement Office. Matthew holds an LLB (Hons) in Laws and a BA in English, Philosophy, and Legal Studies from La Trobe University.
