Yanika Smith-Bartley, Esq. serves as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Asurion, a role held since December 2009, where responsibilities include leading employment law counsel and HR compliance practices. Throughout their tenure, Yanika has held various leadership positions focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion, significantly contributing to the development and implementation of Asurion's global strategies for talent management and employee engagement. Prior to their current role, Yanika gained extensive experience in employment law and litigation at firms such as Baker Donelson and Dinsmore & Shohl. Yanika holds a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fisk University.
