Emma Nightingale has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Emma started their career as an HR Systems Manager at Allianz in 2003 and later became an HR Business Partner for the company from 2006 to 2008. Emma then joined BT Global Services as a Senior HR Business Partner, where they worked from 2008 to 2012. During their time at BT, they also took on the role of Senior HR Business Partner and Programme Lead, managing global M&A and change programs. In 2013, Emma worked as the Head of HR at SSP (Worldwide), responsible for HR leadership and operational HR services across multiple countries. Emma also worked as a Volunteer Project Manager at Raleigh International, leading projects in Central America. Emma then became the Director of People and Culture at Regional Facilities Auckland from 2016 to 2018, overseeing all aspects of HR. After that, they worked as a Programme Manager, Worker Relations at Visionstream, focusing on protecting workers' rights. Most recently, Emma serves as the Head of P&C Operations at AsureQuality, leading operational functions of P&C and driving positive people experiences.
Emma Nightingale attended The Glasgow School of Art from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Illustration with a focus on Fine/Studio Arts. Emma later studied at Farnborough College of Technology from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a degree in CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development). In addition to their formal education, Emma also obtained additional certifications, including Advanced Employment Law from the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand in 2016 and Prince2 from APMG International in 2015.
