Joseph Jensen is an accomplished professional in the field of astronomy and astrophysics, currently serving as the ASP Conference Series Managing Editor at the Astronomical Society of the Pacific since September 2009, where oversight of the publication of conference proceedings volumes occurs. Additionally, since July 2009, Joseph has been a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Utah Valley University. From August 1997 to June 2009, Joseph was the Head of Instrumentation at Gemini Observatory, playing a crucial role in the commissioning and science usage of the Near-IR Imager (NIRI) and participating in the early science operations of the Gemini-North Observatory. Joseph Jensen holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a B.S. in Astronomy from Caltech.
