Richard Walshe has extensive work experience in customer success and managed services roles. Richard is currently working as a Principal Customer Success Manager at Astronomer since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Customer Success Manager at Astronomer between December 2021 and December 2023. Before joining Astronomer, they worked at Cloudera as a Senior Technical Customer Success Manager from September 2015 to February 2022. Richard also held positions at SR Labs as a Director Managed Services US from July 2014 to September 2015, at NYSE Technologies as a Director Managed Services US from March 2008 to July 2014, and at Wombat Financial Software as a Senior Technical Consultant from June 2005 to March 2008.

Richard Walshe obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ulster University between 2003 and 2007. Richard also has additional certifications, including the edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Kubernetes from edX (to be obtained in 2023), and two certifications from Astronomer - Astronomer Certification DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow (to be obtained in 2023) and Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals (obtained in 2021).
