Dennis Markert has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dennis began their career at Miltope Corporation, where they held various roles including Associate Engineer, Test Department Supervisor, Test/Manufacturing Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Sales Engineer. In 1998, they joined Primex Aerospace as a Regional Sales Manager. Dennis then moved to General Dynamics in 2000, where they handled business development and strategic alliances for South American airline customers and In-Flight Entertainment OEMs. In 2002, they joined Teledyne Controls as Manager of Sales & Service, responsible for North American Airline Accounts and OEMs. Dennis also played a key role in new product launches and account recovery for major airline customers. In 2003, they joined IDD Aerospace as a Senior Regional Sales Manager. Finally, in 2006, they became the Director of Business Development at Astronics AES.
Dennis Markert earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Legal Studies from Dowling College from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the New York Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1992. Dennis also attended Grumman Data Systems Institute from 1981 to 1982, where they obtained a degree in Electronic Technology with a focus on Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Dennis started their educational journey at Suffolk County Community College from 1977 to 1979, earning an associate degree in Broadcast Telecommunications.
