Chantelle Goosen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial accounting and taxation, currently serving as Senior Manager at Astron Energy (Pty) Ltd. since April 2006. In previous roles, Chantelle has acted as Financial Controller and Taxation Manager, overseeing various taxation matters for companies across Southern Africa, managing the Tax department’s budget, and supervising a team of six employees. Prior to joining Astron Energy, Chantelle worked as a Corporate Tax Specialist at Chevron and as an Auditor at PwC, where responsibilities included local tax return preparation and audit strategies. Early career experience includes an Audit Clerk position at Coopers & Lybrand. Education includes a Chartered Accountant qualification and a Higher Diploma in Taxation from the University of Cape Town, along with a Bachelor of Accounting from Stellenbosch University.
