Michael Shu has a diverse work experience in the field of thermal engineering. Michael most recently worked as a Thermal Engineer at Astrobotic, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Thermal Engineer at Collins Aerospace from March 2019 to February 2022. Before joining Collins Aerospace, Michael was employed by Northrop Grumman as a Thermal Engineer from May 2017 to March 2019. Michael also held the position of Thermal Engineer at Boeing from September 2012 to April 2017. Michael began their career as an Intern at ICF International, where they worked from June 2006 to December 2009.

Michael Shu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued further education at Stanford University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2012.
