Iylia Azhar is an experienced professional in content marketing and strategy, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President, Content Strategist & Innovation at Astro since November 2013. Iylia has been pivotal in overseeing marketing and communication efforts for digital content across various entertainment assets, developing insights-driven intellectual properties, and managing branding and go-to-market strategies for OTT products. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Associate and Associate in Content Marketing at Astro, and positions at TIME dotCom Berhad as an SME/Consumer Marketing Specialist, Mindshare as a Media Planner, and Cuzzy Media Network as a Marketing/Content Executive. Iylia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia and has foundational education in Biological and Physical Sciences from Pahang Matriculation College.
