Therese Ton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2017, they became the owner of Toscah Bakery. In 2019, they worked as a Research Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where they also served as an Accessioning and Sample Quality Assurance Technician for a brief period in 2020.
From 2015 to 2019, Therese was heavily involved in various roles at Swarthmore College, including an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant for Intro Bio Courses, and Lang Center Associate for Public Health. Therese also worked as a Research Assistant at Sidney Kimmel Medical College from May to August 2017.
Currently, Therese Ton holds a position at Astria Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Research and Development Project Coordinator, a role they have been in since March 2022. Prior to this position, they served as a Research and Development Program Coordinator from April 2021 to March 2022.
Therese Ton completed their high school education from Mater Dei High School from 2012 to 2015. Therese then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Swarthmore College, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they are enrolled at Harvard University, pursuing a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Biotechnology. This program is expected to be completed from 2021 to 2025.
