Sam Bukowski is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing high-performance applications for data processing and analysis. Currently positioned at Astria Labs since February 2023, Sam previously held a role as Software Engineer II at Orion Space Solutions from June 2020 to February 2023, where responsibilities included leading the software development for the ASTRALiTe Edge ToboBathy LiDAR sensor and integrating LiDAR sensors with UAVs and advanced drones. Sam's work has contributed to significant aerospace projects for notable clients such as the US Army, US Navy, IARPA, and the British Ministry of Defense. Additionally, Sam has held roles in computer science, data management, and project engineering across various companies. Sam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
