Yunhe Lai is a lead engineer at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) since March 2021, with responsibilities focused on optical design, nano optical design, and nano fabrication technique applications, including the development of Metalenses and combined refractive lens-Metalens systems. Prior to this role, Yunhe Lai was a postgraduate student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from May 2015 to March 2022, contributing to research under Professor Jianfang Wang. Yunhe Lai earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, completing the degree in 2015.
