Vincent Tse Ming-Leung has a diverse work experience starting from 2003 when they worked as an Industrial Trainee at BAE Systems. Following that, they joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2008, where they held the position of Scientific Officer, responsible for designing and running fiber optics teaching experiments and managing the speciality fiber fabrication laboratory. In 2018, they ventured into tutoring and worked as an IB Physics Tutor till 2020. Currently, they are employed at ASTRI - Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, where they started as a Lead Engineer and later got promoted to Senior Lead Engineer.
Vincent Tse Ming-Leung's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at Queen's University from 2000 to 2001, where they participated in an exchange program focusing on physics. Vincent then pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of St Andrews from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they attended the University of St Andrews again, from 2002 to 2003, to earn a Master of Science degree in Photonics and Optoelectronics Devices. Vincent continued their academic journey at the University of Southampton, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optoelectronics (Fibre Optics) from 2003 to 2007. Finally, they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, studying from 2013 to 2019.
