Mike Yi Sun is an algorithm expert with extensive experience in algorithm design and optimization. Currently employed at 阿里巴巴(中国)有限公司 since July 2018, Mike specializes in advanced algorithms. Previously, Mike worked as a Senior Engineer at ASTRI, starting in September 2016, where responsibilities included developing optimization algorithms for Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and designing computer vision applications. Earlier, in June 2011, Mike completed a summer internship at IBM Beijing in the CRM team, assisting in the maintenance and correction of transaction data. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, focusing on evolutionary algorithms and optimization problem solving.
