Khem Raj Ghusinga is an experienced professional in the fields of pharmacology, computational medicine, and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director at AstraZeneca since July 2024, Khem previously held the position of Senior Scientist at Applied BioMath from October 2021 to July 2024, focusing on Quantitative Systems Pharmacology and Mathematical Modeling. Khem's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware, where a postdoctoral research associate role was undertaken at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 2018 to July 2021, specializing in biology and pharmacology. A research assistantship at the University of Delaware was completed from September 2013 to August 2018, along with early career experience as an engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in the power sector from July 2010 to August 2013. Khem's educational qualifications also include a dual degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communication and Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, obtained in 2010.
