Joanna Lawlor is a highly experienced professional in event and congress management, currently serving as Strategic Global Congress Director at AstraZeneca since December 2007. With expertise in delivering best-in-class meeting and event planning services across the European and Middle East & Africa regions, Joanna has held multiple senior roles including Global Respiratory & Immunology Congress Director and Global Meetings & Events Regional Director (EMEA). Prior to AstraZeneca, Joanna worked at Imagination as a Senior Account Manager and at Meetings and Event Management as an Event Manager, where notable achievements included managing high-profile events for major corporations. Joanna holds a BA (Hons) in Spanish and French from the University of Exeter.
